Welcome — here's the 60-second version
You're helping test Schedumon (a social media scheduling app) before it launches. Your job: follow short test scenarios, tap ✅ Pass or ❌ Fail, and report anything weird. That's it.
⏱ Time: about 1–2 hours a day for 2 weeks (your lead will confirm the dates). 🎁 Thank-you: a free Founder-tier subscription ($59/mo value) for 1–2 years.
⚠️ Two safety rules — please actually read these
1. Posts go to REAL social media accounts. That's on purpose — we're testing the real thing. Use test pages where you can, don't post anything sensitive, warn your followers ("testing an app, ignore the weird posts!"), and delete test posts afterward.
2. Nothing is private in the test org. You share a test organization with other testers — everyone sees the same clients and posts. Don't put real customer data or personal secrets in posts.

🔁 How each test works
Open the 🧪 Test Scenarios tab and pick a category.
Tap a scenario, follow the Steps in the app.
Check off each item under "Check as you verify".
Tap ✅ Pass if everything matched — or ❌ Fail and report the bug (takes 1 minute).
Stuck or can't test something? Tap 🚧 Blocked and leave a note. No shame in it.
You can't break anything. Finding problems is literally the job — a Fail is a win for the team. When in doubt, report it.
Found a bug? Report it in 1 minute
Bug reports go through Sentry — it automatically attaches the technical details (browser, page, error trace) so you don't have to.
Open the report form: press Cmd+Shift+E (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+E (Windows) while you're in the app — or click the small feedback icon in the bottom-right corner of the page.
Answer the 3 questions
What were you trying to do? "I clicked 'Connect Instagram' on the test client (Scenario 3.2)."
What did you expect? "The popup should close and show 'Instagram ✅ Connected'."
What happened instead? "Popup closed but it still says 'Connect'. Console shows a 401 error." — copy/paste exact error messages if you see them.

Quick rules
📸 Attach a screenshot if you can — it doubles the value of the report.
🔁 Bug went away after a refresh? Report it anyway and say so.
🤷 "Maybe it's supposed to work this way?" Report it as P3 with a note.
🔒 Never paste passwords, card numbers, or real customer names into a report.

Send your results to your lead
When you finish a testing day (or the whole sprint), tap the button below. It builds a summary of everything you tested — copy it and paste it into your daily standup message, email, or the tracking sheet.
Sign-off
Once your lead confirms your testing is complete, they'll send you the official Sign-Off Certificate to fill in and sign. You don't need to do anything else here — just make sure your results above are copied and sent.
